Tell other guides

Every guide who joins brings more tours, more destinations and more reasons for travellers to visit.

• Tell colleagues you work with, especially guides in other cities or countries.
• Mention GuidesUnited in guide associations, training courses and professional groups you belong to.
• Share it in the online groups and forums where guides talk to each other.
• Point people to Guide with us, which explains how it works and what it costs.

Share your tours online

Each link to guidesunited.com helps search engines take the site seriously, and helps travellers find your tours.

• Share your guide profile and tour pages on Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and anywhere else you post.
• Add a link to your GuidesUnited profile on your own website, in your email signature and in your social media bio.
• Add a booking widget to your website from your dashboard under Widgets, so travellers can book your tours without leaving your site.
• When you write about a place you guide, link to your tour page on GuidesUnited.

Tell travellers and local partners

You meet travellers and the people who advise them every day.

• At the end of a tour, tell travellers they can find you and other guides on GuidesUnited for their next trip.
• Ask happy travellers to leave a review after their booking. Reviews help other travellers choose with confidence.
• Tell the tourist offices, hotels and associations you work with about us, and send them to our Partners page.
• If you know a journalist, blogger or travel writer, introduce us. We are happy to talk to them.

Lend a skill

If you have time and a skill to offer, we would like to hear from you. For example:

• Languages: checking or improving our pages in your language.
• Writing: articles about your city or region, or about the work of a guide.
