Hello! I'm Aleksandra, a licensed tourist guide from North Macedonia and a history student at the Faculty of Philosophy in Skopje. I'm passionate about history, archaeology, culture and discovering the stories behind the places we visit. I especially enjoy sharing the history of Skopje, from its ancient roots and Ottoman heritage to its modern-day identity. I offer walking tours in Skopje and enjoy meeting people from different countries and helping them understand not only the monuments and historical events, but also everyday life, local traditions and the culture of Macedonia. I speak Macedonian as my native language, as well as English and Spanish. My goal is to make every tour informative, engaging and enjoyable, while creating an opportunity for travellers to discover Macedonia through the eyes of a local. I believe that every place has a story worth telling, and I would love to share those stories with you!
