Chi è Adriano
I’m Adriano, an archaeologist and independent tour guide based in Porto. Since 2018, I’ve been helping travellers discover Portugal through its history, archaeology and the stories hidden behind the places they visit. My tours go beyond the usual sightseeing, from the medieval streets of Porto and Guimarães to Celtic hillforts, Roman roads, the mountains of Gerês and the landscapes of the Douro Valley. I’m especially passionate about Medieval history and the ancient peoples of the Iberian Peninsula. For me, guiding is about storytelling, curiosity and human connection — creating experiences that feel personal, engaging and worth remembering long after the journey ends.
