Spend a full day exploring the hidden side of Switzerland, away from the usual city sights. We'll travel by private vehicle with a dedicated driver and guide, starting with a coffee break in the UNESCO-listed Lavaux Vineyard Terraces overlooking Lake Geneva, before heading up to the dramatic Gorges du Durnand for a walk past waterfalls and cliffs along historic wooden pathways. After free time for lunch in the old town of Sion, one of Switzerland's oldest towns, we'll visit the extraordinary St. Léonard Underground Lake, the largest of its kind in Europe, gliding across it by boat inside the cave. On the way back, we stop once more in Lavaux for a private tasting of four organic Swiss wines at a family-run estate with a winemaking history stretching back a thousand years. It's a small-group day out — a mix of nature, history and local flavour, with everything taken care of so you can just enjoy the ride.
