Am I taxed on the full price, or on what reaches me?

On the full price the traveller paid, not on the amount that lands in your account. The platform cost is something you bought from us, not a discount on what you sold.

So the whole booking is your turnover, and the platform cost is a purchase on your side of the books. This is how it works across this industry, and it is the detail that surprises people most often.

It is the same whichever way travellers pay you. If you take a deposit here and the rest in person, the deposit is still the platform cost you bought from us, and the price the traveller agreed to is still your turnover. Your earnings page and your monthly invoice show the two figures separately, so neither has to be worked out. Your accountant can confirm what applies where you are.
