About Nemu
My name is Nemu, and I am from Valencia, where I have worked in tourism for almost six years. I initially chose this profession because languages have always been a strength of mine, allowing me to guide in English alongside my native Spanish and Valencian. Over time, I have grown to deeply appreciate the work, particularly the chance to share my hometown with visitors. What I value most about guiding is helping people understand our culture and the unwritten rules of daily life. By the end of our time together, I want you to feel a genuine connection to the city and understand what it means to be a local. During my tours, I like connecting Valencia’s history with its present making people understand that history matters affecting directly the society we are nowadays. I also enjoy sharing urban legends and lighter details, getting to know all the coolest Valencian recipes and the best places to try them it's also a very important part of my tour! Outside of guiding, my interest in fantasy carries over into playing RPG computer games and a strong appreciation for Japanese culture. When I am not working, you can usually find me at the gym, cooking, planning a dream trip to Japan, or occasionally going to a techno club with friends.
