About Inês Pais
Hi! I’m Ines, an art historian and tour guide based in Lisbon, and I would be delighted to show you around the city and its surroundings. I have a degree and a master’s in Art History and more than 10 years of experience as a tour guide, as well as over 12 years working as a museum and heritage educator. I’m particularly interested in the ways art, architecture, history and everyday life come together to shape a place. Whether you would like to discover Lisbon’s architectural highlights and lesser-known corners, explore Portugal’s art scene and contemporary culture, delve into its distinctive traditional crafts, or combine history and art with good food and wine, I’m happy to adapt a tour to your interests and pace. I’m also a mother of two, so I know that travelling with children can require a different approach. I’m happy to adapt tours to families and make them enjoyable for children of all ages.
